7 Day Tour Northern Namibia

Visit northern Namibia’s most spectacular sites travelling through mountain landscapes along the way. Accommodation: Well known guest farms and lodges.

Day 1: Spend a night at the historic Waterberg Plateau and enjoy a game drive where you could spot several endangered species, protected from predators on this largely isolated plateau.   [B, D | Kambaku Safari Lodge/Wabi Lodge]
Day 2: Be astonished by the stark beauty of the world-renowned Etosha National Park, with excellent game-viewing safari opportunities of vast herds of animals, including possibily the ‘Big Four’ - Lion, Leopard, Rhino and Elephant.   [B, D | Halai Lodge/Okaukuejo Lodge/Namutoni Lodge]
Day 3: Take a hike to the spectacular Ruacana Falls on the Kunene river. The waterfall is 120 meters high and 700 meters wide in full flood. Depart from Ruacana via Swartbooidrift and Epembe to Epupa.   [B, D | Epupa Falls Lodge]
Day 4: Visit a Himba village in Epupa where the semi-nomadic Himba still live and dress according to their ancient traditions and customs.   [B/D | Epupa Falls Lodge]
Day 5: Travel further through beautiful scenery to Opuwo where you will find Namibia’s largest system of waterfalls and cataracts. Meet again with the Himba.   [B, D | Opuwo Country Lodge]
Day 6: At Kamanjab visit the sites of some Bushmen rock engravings. There is also the chance of spotting Namibia’s desert adapted Elephants.   [B, D | Toko Lodge]
Day 7: On the journey back to Windhoek, visit a crocodile farm at Otjiwarongo and the African Craft market at Okahandja.

Visit the untamed and untouched stark beauty of southern Namibia

Day 1: Depart Windhoek and travel into the solitary Kalahari Desert.
